VCF Academy in Houston enjoys success in Texas Youth Soccer League
Close to 100 children represent Valencia CF in the North American competition
Representatives from the VCF Academy in Houston, USA, have spent the past few months participating in the Texas Youth Soccer League. The competition, which runs from September to November, featured the involvement of several local clubs, fielding teams aged between 7 and 17 years old.
The VCF Academy provided 8 teams in the different age groups, giving them the opportunity to represent Valencia CF and enjoy playing football.
The results were also favourable for the teams, who won the Under-10s category with 5 wins and 2 draws; The Under-12s category with 65 goals scored; and the Under-17s age group.
The VCF Academy in Houston is part of the club’s international academy project, which features 15 hubs of youth activity across North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. The objective is to increase visibility for Valencia CF and the methodology used at the VCF Academy.

The tournament will bring together 15 teams from the VCF Academy Programs across America, Asia, Europe and Oceania from June 25 to 28 at the Valencia CF Training Ground.
